Open-Water Underwater Photography
An independent photographic series created during various dives to document marine life, reefs, and seascapes through specialized underwater production.
The Project
During various dives in marine environments, we developed an underwater photography series focused on capturing marine life, reefs, and underwater landscapes.
The objective was to create original visual material that demonstrated the ability to produce images in conditions where mastering a camera is not enough; buoyancy control, underwater movement, and adaptation to the lighting, visibility, and motion of the environment are also essential.
The Production
The series combines wide shots of the marine ecosystem with close-ups of different species, aiming to preserve the sense of depth, movement, and atmosphere that distinguishes underwater photography.

Result
The project created a specialized visual portfolio that demonstrates Kataby’s ability to produce original content in underwater environments.
This type of production can be used by diving centers, nature tourism companies, aquatic experience providers, marine projects, hotels, ocean-related brands, and organizations that require authentic visual content without relying on stock photography.
